ELECTRICITY OR OIL : What will the future cars run on?

Undoubtedly,the future cars will run on  electricity as it's primary source of fuel.Because the rate at which we are exploiting and harnessing our fossil-fuels viz-Petroleum are soon on the verge of extinction.
The rate at which our demands for energy and fuels (Oils) are rising ,is very clear that fossil-fuels (Oils) alone is insufficient to full-fill it.
According to IHS Markit analyst ,it is estimated that over 3.5 million electric cars are on the road today,and there may be as many as 36 million cars by 2025,and by 2040,30% of all new car sales will be electric.As ELON MUSK says-

Above cited data clearly reflects the FUTURE OF ELECTRIC CARS in the global market,and only this electric car can full-fill our demands of fuels as compared to limited oil reserves when seen in a long-term.In the era where global leaderships are organising various Global Summit to check the ever-rampanting pollution which is very often described as PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY.Then, in this context the electric cars emerge as very good alternative to cars that use oil as it's fuel.
Electric cars emits zero direct emission which specifically helps improve air quality in cities.A study made in the UK in 2008,concluded that electric vehicles (as especially cars) has the potential to reduce CO2 and Green House Gases (GHGs) Emission by at least 40%.One of the exceptional thing about electric vehicles(Cars) is that they are far more energy efficient 85% to 90% than internal combustion engine 17% to 21% which means that they use less energy to cover same distance and saves our fuel,by Indian Express- https://www.thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/can-india-make-the-transition-to-electric-vehicles/article28390189.ece

Less energy used means less produced pollutant,which in turn means less CO2 emission produced by non-renewable energy sources.But it is often claimed by sceptics that electric cars just move the pollution to the Power station - it's called "Long Tailpipe Theory",but they fails to note that it is pretty much all power stations are green than internal combustion engine in terms of energy and carbon efficiency.
But as a matter of fact still many countries produces electricity primarily from fossil-fuels,but now countries are giving up these conventional practices and shifting towards clean energy sources.For example - India is targeting 40% of power generation from non fossil-fuels by 2030,and this clearly strengthen the Future of Electric Cars as clean fuel vehicle to a great extent and consequently this will reduce our Carbon footprint.
As mentioned earlier,air pollution is often described as "Public Health Emergency" and we all have heard,our National capital was one's described as "Gas Chamber".So it becomes more necessary for us to promote and propagate the environment saving fuels,so as to avoid any such circumstances in future.As in GLOBAL MOBILITY SUMMIT --
