Why Earth Science 🌎 is going to play decisive role in this era?

WHY DID YOU PREFER EARTH SCIENCE OVER OTHER SCIENCE SUBJECT  FOR YOUR HIGHER STUDIED?

I prefer Earth Science over other branches of Science for my higher studies because the role of Earth Science becomes very crucial and decisive when we look out to rescue our future from the grip of ever rampanting contamination and degradation of our home i.e. The Earth.

This branch of Science is Central to all the branches of Science.It's horizon is very vast from the deep interior of the Earth to the unfathomable universe.

Understanding how our planet work is important for everyone,and that's what the Earth Science is about,figuring out Earth's past.This is the world that we humans call home,investigating how it has changed over time, understanding where it is now,and what may happen to it in the future and how to care for our beautiful planet.viz-

This branch of Science is all about changes over time from the beginning of the planet 4.6 Ga through all the ages of Geologic time.Only after having ample knowledge about Earth, a student can make informed judgement that affect our planet, protect surface area,care for it's atmosphere, safeguard it's water and sustain life form.Earth's system interact to produce and sustain life and vegetation on our elegant planet the Earth.

According to the present rate of our multiplication,by 2025, 8 billion people will live on Earth.Obviously these huge amount of population have huge amount of demands.If we are to continue extracting resources to maintain a high quality of life,then we as individuals and citizen ;need to know more about planet,and it's process,it's resources,and it's environment and due to this Earth Science has many disciplines of specialisation viz- Geology, Geophysics, Meteorology, Oceanography and many more.

The delicate balance of Earth's system is it's a combination Science and interdisciplinary,it draws upon all other Sciences to unlock Earth's mysteries and it's surrounding.

It will take a deep and subtle understanding of Earth's system for future generations to be able to feed,clothe, house and provide meaningful existence for all human beings.

In the era when whole world is striving towards the clean energy sources,the Earth Science has very great potential to come out with alternative sources of Energy.

These days the whole world can be heard of talking about Earth and it has become so important subject of interest that lot's of undergrads are pursuing.And I am very much sure that we would emerge out as a very good professionals and serve our mother Earth.

There are many challenges the humanity is facing presently viz- dwindling energy sources,and mineral resources,changing climates, water shortages--directly related to the Earth,and only through the education of Earth Science,students can understand and appreciate our complex and dynamic planet.

To enhance our stewardship of the environment; we must proceed into the future with a sound understanding of the Earth Science.
